- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F7VGSM0209A008, is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44 and through Department of Defense Acquisition Regulation Change Notice 20100810. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffar1.htm This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The NAICS code is 332439 and the small business size standard for this NAICS Code is 500 employees. The 184 IW Kansas Air National Guard Smoky Hill ANG Bomb Range (KSANG) has a requirement to obtain the following item. CLIN 0001: Twenty (20) each; 40 Foot USED Connex Containers. Containers must be stackable, doors do not have to work and flooring can be unusable. These Connex boxes will be used for the purpose of Bombing/Targeting. FOB-Destination for delivery to: Smoky Hill ANG Bomb Range, 8429 West Farrelly Road, Salina, Ks 67401-9407. Delivery NLT 60 day ARO. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control (QC). Government will offload Connex boxes once delivered. Delivery Instructions: Delivery must be coordinated with range personnel a minimum of one working day prior to delivery date by calling 785 827-9611, Opt 1, and only Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 0830 and 1500. Point of Contact will be identified in resulting award. The Government requires that all contractors doing business with this agency must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). No award can be made to a company not registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR, please access the following web site: www.bpn.gov.
