- The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic Charleston, SC code 22531 hasa requirement for HP Servers with VMWare software. The North AmericanIndustry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 423430.The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Contract on the productslisted below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). Only one responsiblesource and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.HP servers and VMWare software are required to maintain compatibility withexisting systems. Contract is to be FOB Destination ReceivingOfficer, SPAWARSYSCEN, ATLANTIC 2921 AVE. B. NORTH, BLDG. 1639, N.CHARLESTON, SC 29405 and shall be Marked For (M/F) as specified. Inspectionand acceptance shall be made at destination. Please see attached SF-18 for Line Item requirements. ** THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVEQUOTES FOR ITEMS OTHER THAN THE BRAND NAME HP/VMware EQUIPMENTLISTED IN THIS SYNOPSIS.** The Government will accept quotes from allresponsible sources with the capability to provide the brand name product citedabove and will award a Contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsiblevendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be mostadvantageous to the Government. Quote is due to Matthew Hudson, ContractSpecialist, SPAWARSYSCEN, ATLANTIC by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,17 August 2010. The Government reserves the right to process theprocurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. TheGovernment will not pay for any information received.
