- This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted in response to this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of a quote. Responsible sources who believe they can provide the required items may submit a written capability statement via e-mail to mwright@fs.fed.us, not later than 12:00 a.m. MT on August 19, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number and Cage Code. The Government intends to award a Base + 2 Option Years Firm-Fixed Price Contract for the following: Base Year - 09/15/2010 through 09/15/2011 AGRI-QU-12, Agricola 12 Month Subscription w/Quarterly Updates 1984+, License Type: Network, Usage Level: 8 Sim. Users Base Year - 09/15/2010 through 09/15/2011 CAFO-QU-39, Forest Science Db. (formerly TreeCD) 1939-Present, License Type: Network, Usage Level: 6 Sim. Users Base Year - 09/15/2010 through 09/15/2011 ELGE-IN-80, Geobase 1980+ Online, License Type: Site, Usage Level: SITE Base Year - 09/15/2010 through 09/15/2011 GREF-MO-IN, GeoRef 12 Month Subscription w/Monthly Updates (N.Amer-1785+)/(World-1933+), License Type: Site, Usage Level: 999 Sim. Users All documentation shall become the property of the Government. Firms responding must indicate the following information: Indicate the business size: small business or small disadvantaged business, veteran owned small business or HUB Zone certified.
