- ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO SUMMER TURNER. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-AL-M, Summer Turner, Contract Specialist, or Jennifer Jackson, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-313-8194. No telephone or email requests will be accepted. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, testing equipment and materials to overhaul the Modulator-Oscillator, PRON: AX0M0728AX, Input NSN: 5895-01-440-9210, Input PN: 8676020-513, Output NSN: 5895-01-440-9210, Output Part Number: 8676020-513 in support of the AH-64 aircraft. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 3 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 2 each, maximum quantity of 9 each, and 3 each foreign military sales (FMS). This item is restricted to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Inc. (a Boeing subsidiary), Cage Code 48T42 because technical data is not currently available to support a competitive solicitation. The applicable drawings and technical data are not available due to proprietary data. The only known source(s) of overhaul data for the Modulator-Oscillator is the manufacturers drawing(s) presently controlled by McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Inc. (a Boeing subsidiary), which has been the only previous overhaul support for this Modulator-Oscillator. This requirement is currently unfunded. Firms that recognize and perform maintenance/overhaul on the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
