- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission ('CFTC' or 'Commission') intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Comcast Corporation for traditional cable television services for the CFTC Headquarters building located at 1155 21st Street, NW; Washington, DC. The period of performance will be October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. Comcast is the only source known to be able to provide the required services using the existing building infrastructure. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available. However, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the date and time identified above. Written reposes must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination will be made at the sole discretion of CFTC.
