- F41999-10-RFI-CYP0002 Request for Information (RFI) For The Air Force Services Agency (AFSVA) Child and Youth Programs Business Management Solution (CYPBMS) In support of Air Force Services Nonappropriated Fund Child and Youth Programs PURPOSE: The Headquarters Air Force Services Agency (HQ AFSVA), Directorate of Programs, Air Force Family Member Programs Division is seeking sources to provide additional information regarding possible costs surrounding this effort; specifically, estimated annual sustainment costs. The NAFI understands that any numbers provided by vendors will be rough-in, best estimates based on the limited information provided and that they may not be an accurate representation of what the same vendor might offer under the terms of an active, valid proposal. GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a Request for Information (RFI). As stated in the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) referenced below, the NAFI seeks a best-in-breed, enterprise-grade, Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) web-accessible business management solution (BMS) that will include customer registration, activity enrollment, point-of-sale (POS), inventory management and sports scheduling capabilities, to support worldwide Child and Youth Programs (CYP) business operations [Child Development Centers (CDC), Family Child Care (FCC) Offices and Resource Centers, School-Age facilities and Youth Centers/Teen Centers]. THIS ACTION WILL NOT RESULT IN CONTRACT AWARD. THIS RFI IS FOR INORMATION GATHERING ONLY. RESPONSES TO THIS RFI ARE VOLUNTARY AND WILL NOT, IN ANY WAY INFLUENCE THE VENDOR'S CHANCE AT FUTURE CONTRACT AWARD POSSIBILITIES. DISCUSSIONS WILL NOT BE HELD AND QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED AT THIS TIME REGARDING THE RFI OR PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED DRFP. THE DRFP IS ONLY PROVIDED AS SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION FOR THE QUESTIONS ASKED IN THIS RFI. This project was formerly known as: Family Member Programs Business Management Solution (FMPBMS). Interested parties are asked to read the additional data provided and answer the RFI, found on the AFNAFPO web site at: http://www.afnafpo.com/GeneralInfo/AFNAFPO_BusinessOpps.htm. The previously advertised DRFP can also be found at the AFNAFPO link above, and used as a reference for the RFI. RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS: RFI responses will be received by e-mail using POC: Barbara Jewett at AFSVABusinessOperations@us.af.mil. Please include your company name, address, POC(s), phone numbers, website and e-mail addresses on responses. Responses will be accepted until 1200 (noon) CST on Friday, 3 September 2010. Files must be sent using encrypted e-mail and only contain MS Word or PDF attachments - no ZIP files please.
