- Justification And Approval For Other Than Full And Open Competition Notice of intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source acquisition to Gentex Corporation for oxygen mask lights. The 56th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order by other than full and open competition in acccordance with Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no ohter supplies will satisfy agency requirments. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determinaiton not to compete this procurement was made because the Gentex Corporation's Oxygen Mask Lights it is the only night vision goggle oxygen mask light that was approved by the Safe to Fly (STF) by Air Force Human Systems Command, Brooks City Base San Antonio.
