- This synopsis is for the following NSN: 5940-01-093-0292, Splice, Conductor unit of issue is One Package (PG) equal 100 Each (EA) in accordance with the following: Part Number D-141-0108 from Tyco Electronics Corporation, Cage 06090. End Item: Support Equipment on various aircraft including the Eagle F-15 and the F-16. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Firm Fixed Price with one base year plus four option years. Solicitation will be issued as an Unrestricted acquisition under the procedures of Other Than Full & Open Competition. Surge & Sustainment requirements do not apply for this requirement per IBMS inquiry on 08/06/2010. Cost and pricing data is not required since the dollar value has not been met. Progress payments will not be included per IBMS inquiry on 08/06/10. For 5940-01-093-0292, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 324 PG for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 81 PG. The Maximum Annual Contract Quantity is 486 PG for the base and each option year. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 81/324 PG. A subcontracting plan will not be required since the dollar value has not been met. Economic Price Adjustment is not applicable. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. Quantity Variance is plus or minus 0%. Required delivery is 48 days ARO pre IBMS inquiry on 08/06/10. This item is a critical application item but not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP 08/06/2010. DLA-Direct delivery will be to New Cumberland, PA & Tracy, CA only. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on August 26, 2010 with a closing date of September 27, 2010.
