- The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to perform site preparation, sandblasting, cleaning, and other means necessary to reseal the existing joints per the site drawings and specification. Contractor shall remove existing joint sealant, thoroughly clean, sand blast and reseal all joints. Type A joints are control joints that will need to be cleaned out, sand blasted and resealed with silicone sealant only. Type B joints are contraction joints that will need to be cleaned out, sand blasted and have backer rod installed and resealed with silicone sealant. The reseal project is located on the Big Bend Powerhouse downstream deck.
