Description
See Attached Request for Quotation Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform grounds maintenance as described in the following attachments for the Birmingham, Alabama Air Traffic Control Tower and Base Building. This area consists of approximately five (5) acres including building structures, parking lot, approximately 1.25 acres of grass area, and eight (8) flower/shrub areas. This requirement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. 1st - Very Small Business, 2nd - 8(a) certified small businesses, 3rd - Small businesses to include Service Disabled and Women Own businesses and 4th - Large Businesses). Each tier will be evaluated using the procedure outline below: A determination of insufficient competition or unreasonable price will be made before the next tier is evaluated. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). Notice: This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-own concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation -related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
