- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract consisting of one (1) base year and four (4) option years, to 2T Business Solutions, 6338 N. New Braunfels, Suite 181, San Antonio, TX 78209, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5), 38 U.S.C. 8127(b) and (c), and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) 819.7007,for services in support of VA facilities located in the following places to the specified Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) -Chicago, Illinois, - Kansas City, Missouri - Dallas, Texas - Little Rock, Arkansas - Minneapolis, Minnesota. Video Teleconferencing is an ongoing effort of OI&T to meet VA's requirements for a robust and highly functional video teleconference network to support Care Coordination/Home Telehealth (CCHT), and Rural-health. This procurement calls for maintenance of video teleconferencing equipment to support VHA initiatives in Region 2. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541519. The estimated date of award for this action is September 30, 2010. This notification shall close on Wednesday, August 26, 2010.
