- Statement of Work The solicitation number FA9301-10-M-E008. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information icluded in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. This is a request for quotation (FRQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100810. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC) code is J042. NAICS is 811310 and the size standard is $7,000,000.00. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base, Ca is seeking to purchase the following items. Perform maintenance/service on 10 fire fighting vehicle mounted purple K dry chemical fire extinguishing system. Purple K Dry Chemical for 10 agent tanks, 8ea 500lb tanks and 2ea 450lb tanks. Parts as needed to get systems in working order. Perform service/maintenance on installed vehicle mounted purple K Dry Chemical systems on 10 crash fire fighting vehicles to get them ready for operational use. Perform service/maintenance on installed vehicle mounted Purple K Dry Chemical fire extinguishing systems on 10 crash fire fighting vehicles. Maintenance must be in accordance with NFPA 10 and California Title 19. Service will be performed on site at Edwards AFB, location to be determined by contractor and an Edwards AFB representative and completed within 10 business days. Maintenance/service will include hydrostatic testing of the high pressure nitrogen cylinders, low pressure agent tanks, and hoses. There are 10 nitrogen cylinders and 10 agent tanks, 8 that have a 500lb capacity and 2 that have a 450lb capacity, for a total of 4900 pound of Purple K Dry Chemical. Any residual agent must be removed and disposed if in accordance with California Law before hydrostatic testing can be performed. High pressure cylinders must be hydrostatically tested at an authorized facility. After the nitrogen cylinders and agent tanks have been hydrostatically tested the nitrogen cylinder must be filled with nitrogen and the agent tank must be filled with Purple K Dry Chemical to tank capacity. When complete the installed purple K Dry Chemical systems shall be fully functional. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB destination (Edwards AFB, CA 93524). Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minumum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
