Mental Health Performance Work Statement Operational Assesment Performance Work Statement Synopsis: Open Competition - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - PR# F1ATD40166A001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100713. NAICS is 541712 with a small business size standard of 500. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed in the Performance Work Statement. Air Force District of Washington AFDW/PKM is seeking to evaluate the potential utilization of an avatar based online "virtual worlds" to meet the needs of military beneficiaries for family support for the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General AF/SG Telehealth Branch. The purpose is to evaluate the potential use of such technologies to provide such support to security forces by providing interaction between deployed security forces and their families in a virtual world. This requirement includes: a variety of personnel working on the system. Please see attached Performance Work Statement for further guidance.
