- Amendment 0003 is available for download. The due date is changed to 13 August 2010 at 1:00PM EST. The project is to construct an Indoor Small Arms Range. Range to be a 21 point live fire range facility. Construction shall consist of all utilities, reinforced concrete foundation, concrete floor slabs, masonry walls with brick veneer (as option), roof system, interior walls and finishes, steel deflector plates, bullets trap, overhead baffles, sound reflection reduction, exhaust system, HVAC systems, electrical systems, fire protection and asphalt concrete parking lot (as option). The new building will be approximately 21,170 square feet. The project shall meet current Anti Terrorism/Force Protection criterion. The project shall meet U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver rating. The Estimated Price Range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This Solicitation is a single phase procurement following the Tradeoff (Best Value) approach. The technical information contained in the proposal will be reviewed, ev aluated, and rated by the Government. The proposal for this procurement at a minimum will consist of the following: Experience of the Prime Contractor; Past Performance of the Prime Contractor; Price; and Pro Forma Information. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. The solicitation will be available by download from the Internet only. NAICS code is 236220. Size Limitation is $33.5M. This is a SMALL BUSINESS (SB) SET-ASIDE competitive procurement. Contract duration for construction is 490 days. The due date for proposals is 13 Aug 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Louisville Time (EDT). Project documents will be web only.
