Description
Solicitation Form 1442 Combined Drawings Wage Determination Industrial Saftey Requirements Combined Specifications The 78 th Contracting Squadron, Robins AFB, GA offers this opportunity to be accomplished using competitive acquisition procedures for HUB Zone Certified Contractors only. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210. The project consists of all tools, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary to replace base wide (106 units) locally operated by photocell high mast lighting control units with an integrated radio Ethernet programmable logic controlled system to include local control panels, two remote human machine interfaces (HMI) and a central PLC cabinet with personal computer input/output display on a flat screen monitor. The work shall require technical knowledge in executing radio frequency telemetry, PLC programming, and electrical construction. The rough order of magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This range does not necessarily reflect the proximity of the actual estimated cost. To be eligible for contract award, prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http:www.ccr.gov/. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Any questions in regards to this notice must be submitted in writing or via email to the Primary POC Ryan Byrd ( ryan.byrd@robins.af.mil ). *Note 1: All offerors are required to fill out the solicitation in its entirity (i.e. line item prices, delivery schedule, fill-in clauses, etc...). *Note 2: A site visit is scheduled for Monday 23 August 2010 beginning at 8:45am (EST) each day. We will meet in the Museum of Aviation parking lot at 8:30am. Directions can be found at www.museumofaviation.org. There shall be no more than two registered parties per contractor.
