- Scope of Work - The work includes the following: 1. Replacement of the Cooling Tower Pump House Vertical Turbine Pumps, Pump Motors, Control Valves (motorized) and Check valves, and the replacement of all Hydrostatic Level Switches in the Cooling Tower Sumps in the Pump House.2. Replacement of Motors driving Cooling Tower Fans along with associated right angle gear boxes and vibration switches.3. Replacement of three(3) existing Vertical Turbine Pumps and Pump Motors, Three (3) Fan Motors, Three (3) Right-Angle Gear Boxes and associated Three (3) Vibration Switches. All equipment, valves, instruments and gages called for removal shall be replaced with new equipment.4. Remove and replace the screens separating the sump collection area from still compartment.All construction methods, procedures, testing, and startup work shall be planned, sequenced, approved, and performed in such a manner that cooling towers which must remain online for facility operational requirements, are functioning properly.
