- Original response date was posted as September 14th, 2010. This modification changes the response date to September 10th, 2010. This modification removes the AZ BOR CIBR 900(1), Cibola Bridge Deck Replacement portion of the solicitation. This project will be advertised under full and open (unrestricted) competition. PROJECT DETAILS This project consists of 1800 ft of widening on southbound US 93 on AZ BLM 93(1), Monolith Gardens Trailhead and Turnout, in Mohave County, Arizona. The estimated price range is between $300,000 and $600,000. Monolith Gardens: The Monolith Gardens project consists of constructing approximately 1800 feet of acceleration and deceleration lane widening on southbound US 93 near milepost 69, approximately 3 miles northwest of Kingman Arizona. The project also consists of reconstruction of the access to the BLM Monolith Gardens trailhead. Principle work items include: 400 tons of asphalt pavement, 650 tons of aggregate base, 60 tons of asphalt friction course, 1,500 square yards of pavement milling, 200 cubic yards of roadway excavation, 750 feet of guardrail, and 1 cattle guard and metal gate. This project may or may not include an option. Decision on the option is to be determined.
