- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project entails the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to repair of 52 High Temperature Valve Stations throughout Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, MT in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints.. Repairs range from extensive to minor, and may include any or all of the following: Replace pipe insulation, replace valves, replace insulation blanket, remove and cap unused branch lines, modify concrete trench vent risers, replace pipe sleeves to trench, replace sump float, add sump alarm light on CMU wall, install sump pump control panel, repair CMU wall enclosures, regrade enclosure area, and add additional gravel inside the enclosure area. The Request For Proposal will be available on or about 26 August 2010. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 24 September 2010. The Performance Period for this project is two hundred forty (240) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to both large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx ). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 31 December 2010, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/ ). The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
