- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The anticipated proposal due date is on or about 8 September 2010. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. The Navy is procuring a copier lease and maintenance contract for various bases throughout Japan. The Navy anticipates awarding a FFP contract with a base and 4 option periods. The work will consist of service calls, development and implementation of a PMI program and other recurring services. The Contractor shall develop, implement, and execute a Trouble Call, Maintenance Program, Inspection, Testing, and Certification Program, and Other Recurring Service Program to maintain and repair installed equipment and systems. This procurement is being solicited as full and open competition with procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 and 13.The solicitation requires offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government. All offers shall be in the English Language and priced in Japanese Yen. The estimated contract award date is on or about 20 September 2010 with the period of performance to commence 01 October 2010. Award will be made to the offeror that represents the best value to the Government. Paper solicitation will not be issued.
