- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO BE AWARDED TO AN EXISTING FOREST SERVICE CONTRACT HOLDER. This project is fully funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to all the requirements of the act including the registration and reporting requirements. This opportunity is available ONLY to the five current contractors under the existing Multiple Award Task Order Contract established by the Forest Service. The basic Multiple Award Task Order Contract was competed and awarded for road maintenance projects in the San Bernardino National Forest in California. Offers will only be accepted from the 5 current contract holders for road maintenance for work in the San Bernardino National Forest. This task order is for Road Decommissioning and Restoration work consisting of blocking motorized vehicle access on specified unauthorized routes and camouflaging the routes to reduce the likelihood of continued and future motorized use. Work will focus on blocking entrances to unauthorized routes from open transportation system roads, and camouflaging these routes to a distance where the route is no longer plainly visible from the system road. Work will be located in various locations within the San Bernardino National Forest. One fixed price award is expected to result from this solicitation.
