- Draft Statement of Work THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The United States Department of Transportation, Office of the Secretary of Transportation, Acquisition Services Division is conducting market research to determine the extent of sources capable of performing as prime contractors for the attached Statement of Work (SOW) at Attachment 1. The anticipated acquisition will be un-restricted. In order for the Acquisition Services Division to properly gauge the capability of firms, interested concerns must provide: (1) Capability statement (limited to five (5) pages in length, singled-spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating the ability to perform duties as cited within the SOW. This statement should specifically describe your firms ability to provide adequate staffing and staffing experience as it relates to the SOW. (2) Relevant Experience (limited to three (3) pages)--within the last three years, including contract number, indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract referenced is relevant to the SOW. Additionally, a draft Statement of Work (Attachment 1) is attached for informational purposes only. Interested concerns are also encouraged to submit under separate cover any comments/questions regarding the draft SOW. All sources capable of providing these services are encouraged to respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement via email by submitting their responses to Eric Yi via email at eric.yi.ctr@dot.gov by August 18, 2010 4:00pm Eastern Time. When emailing your response, please send it in PDF or MS Word format and reference intelligence Support Services Sources Sought in the subject of your e-mail. Do not include or attach brochures in addition to your response. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this Sources Sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. The submission of this information is for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any services, nor for the Government to pay for the information received. Large business concerns are not prohibited from responding to this announcement; however, information submitted may not be evaluated.
