- Request For Quotation Sheet to be filled by offeror. Drawing # 5-10-9 Technical Data Specification MIL-DTL-32063 An oral request for quotations will be solicited for the following item as a small purchase: Tarpaulin, Cotton Duck or Vinyl-Coated Polyester, Type I, Class 1, 26' x 22', Camouflage Green 483, NSN: 8340-00-577-5838. Quantity: 326 each. Six deliveries are expected, required delivery beginning one hundred eighty (180) days after date of award and every thirty (30) days thereafter. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The destination for subject items is Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Submittal of First Article is required ninety (90) days after date of award. Specifications, or other applicable documents, can be obtained by contacting Brian McGinley by email at Brian.McGinley@dla.mil. Quotes are due on or before 3:00 PM Eastern Time on August 25, 2010. DFARS clause 252.211-7006 "Radio Frequency Identification" applies to this solicitation. DFARS clause 252.225-7001 "Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program" applies to the solicitation. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
