- Risk Assessment Methodology Development RFI The Treasury Department, Office of Emergency Programs, is requesting methodological concept papers about current or planned methodologies for assessing risk at the essential function level and/or information regarding a new methodology and associated process requirements for achieving the objective to establish a risk profile based at an essential functional level (versus exclusively at geographic regions, facility, IT system, equipment, complex, etc. levels). The response must demonstrate a holistic approach to risk profile development and an in depth understanding of the concept process from start to finish with the end state being a complete and detailed risk profile for a U.S. Federal Government Mission Essential Function (as defined by Federal Continuity Directive #2). The submissions will all be reviewed and the most well developed submission that achieves the goal may serve as the basis for a follow-on Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Request For Information (RFI) will be posted until September 15, 2010. Questions concerning this RFI should be sent to the Contracting Officer listed in this announcement no later than September 8, 2010. This is NOT an RFQ nor a RFP, therefore, no contract will be awarded from this RFI. Depending on the results of this RFI, a Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued by Treasury at a later date.
