Sole Source - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - PR# F3KTK70210A001 DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS. The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement to purchase upgrades to the existing ChemCAD Operating Software. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive quotes. 45 CONS/LGCB, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 intends to award to Chemstations, Inc, 2901 Wilcrest Drive, Suite 305 Houston, TX 77042. Chemstation, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement. Chemstation, Inc. is the sole producer and supporter of the software that is utilized with mission requirements. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Chemstations, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement. However, the government will consider any responses from sources capable of providing THIS EXACT ITEM received within 10 days after date of publication of this solicitation. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is F3KTK70210A001. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20091229. NAICS is 541511 with a small business size standard of $25 M. 45 CONS, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase commercial items manufactured and designed by Chemstations. as follows: 3 EA CC-Batch Distillation Process Simulation and 3 EA CC- Dynamics Chemical Process Simulation softwares. Agreement to include 6 months comprehensive support for both softwares to coincide with existing support of the ChemCAD master software. Shipping FOB Destination, Bldg 989, 1030 S. Hwy A1A, Patrick AFB, FL 32925-3002. Minimum Salient Characteristic: System Performance Specifications: 0001 3 EA Upgrade 3 licenses of ChemCAD for CC-Batch Distillation w/support-DistillationProcess Simulation Software 0002 3 EA Upgrade 3 licenses of ChemCAD for CC-Dynamics w/support -Dynamic Chemical Process Simulation Software Preferred Delivery: Earliest Possible Delivery Date but Not Later than 30 Days After Receipt of Order. Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Bldg 989, 1030 S. Hwy A1A, Patrick AFB, FL 32925-3002.
