- RECOVERY - In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and reinvestment Act of 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, the Government posts this notice FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY of intent to issue a solicitation to GSA Schedule holders only under Federal Supply Class (FSC) 70, Category 132-8 for General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software, and Services - Purchase of New Equipment, Sun/Oracle T5120 Server, for the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA Finance Office, Room 1204, 20020 Century Blvd., Germantown, Maryland 20874. Quotes will only be accepted from GSA contract holders under this FSC class. Delivery date is August 31, 2010. This acquisition will be issued as an RFQ and awarded as a firm-fixed price order under simplified acquisition procedures. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is 7035 and NAICS Code is 423430, small business size standard is 100 employees. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on GSA Advantage. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor GSA Advantage for the release of the RFQ, specification, and all subsequent amendments. Telephone requests will not be honored.
