- Description
- The General Services Administration is looking for a general construction company to refresh swing space on the 4th Floor in support of the Comprehensive Seismic and Life-Safety Renovations project at the Federal Building, 300 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, California. The purpose of this requirement is to construct temporary office spaces for the 6th Floor tenants to enable them to continue their daily business operations while the 6th Floor is closed for renovations. Temporary office space has been previously built out on the 4th Floor for tenants of different floors, but these spaces will need some minor refreshing to accommodate the operations of the 6th Floor tenants. The estimated cost is from $150,000.00 to $200,000.00. Estimated completion time is 28 days. The 4th Floor Area will be vacant during the performance of the contract work. All personnel from the general construction company who will be on-site shall be required to obtain a Governmental Security Clearance and an identification badge. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Firms interested in receiving an Request for Proposals (RFP) package must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration ( www.ccr.gov ) and need to e-mail Colleen Butler, Contract Specialist Intern, in order to receive a RFP package at colleen.butler@gsa.gov. Proposals will be issued on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the 300 N. Los Angeles St. Federal Building on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:00am (PDT). PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGED DATE AND TIME FOR THE PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE (The previous date was Monday, August 16, 2010 at 1:00pm (PDT)). Proposals are due on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 3:00pm (PDT).
