- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Diagnostic Solutions International of Ontario, Canada for the acquisition of nine (9) Main Rotor Blade (MRB) tab tool sets, P/N 915-16261. The Government plans on purchasing three (3) during the base period and three (3) each during option periods 1 and 2. These items are used to support the MQ-8B Fire Scout during site-stand up at Ground Control Stations LSC-1 through LCS-3. The MRB tab tool sets measure trim tabs deflection and adjust them to their proper position to achieve the proper flight characteristics. The Government intends to procure the MRB tab tool kits under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
