- The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for closing agent services for the sale of HUD-owned single family (1-4) properties in Tampa, Florida. Counties included in this area are the following: Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Henry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Mantee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota and Sumter. The primary objective is to perform closings of HUD-owned properties within 60 miles of the subject property. The contractor is expected to coordinate with the Asset Manager contractor (AM) to accomplish the closing within the allotted timeframe. The contract duration will be for one base year with two, one-year options. More detailed information concerning the work requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation should be available for downloading from the Federal Business Opportunity website on or after 08/26/2010. All proposals are due 30 days from the date the solicitation is issued. The NAICS Code is 541191 with a size standard of $7 million. This procurement will be a total small business set aside. No hard copies of the solicitation will be made available. Telephone and email requests for the solicitation will not be accepted.
