- Statement of Work The Food and Drug Administration intends to sole source the following requirement for preventive maintenance and performance qualification protocols for Shimadzu HPLC instruments. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing (Statement of Work Attached). An FDA-wide initiative has been established to bring all labs into compliance with the ISO 17025 standard. The testing executed by Shimadzu complies with this requirement for certification that DPA must satisfy. The standards used in testing are NIST traceable. Shimadzu will supply a documentation package which satisfies DPS's Quality Assurance requirements. Offerors who feel they can provide the same service or any relevant services may contact Cheryl Frazier at Cheryl.Frazier@fda.hhs.gov. All responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., August 16, 2010. Offerors shall provide Capability Statements, Product Description and Product Performance results. The Presolicitation will only be available through FedBizOpps http://www.fbo.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for dowloading the Presolicitation and all attachments.
