Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100713. NAICS is 334119 and the size standard is 1000 employees; FSC code is 6710. Delivery: days after receipt of order (DARO), performance and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. This solicitation is for the purchase of GPS Synchronized Miniature Time Code Generators, IRIG B version, with connection for Lock Light (Quantity 6). The minimum salient characteristics the government is requiring goes as follows: -Twelve-Channel GPS Receiver -IRIG B time code generator -UTC time mark output -RS-232C serial port -Outputs time and latitude & longitude via serial port -Time offset input via serial port -Battery backed up internal clock, maintains time during power loss -Event trigger input -Remote GPS Lock Indicator -Non-Volatile memory -Includes active GPS antenna -Included with the 6115G-8-1 is a CDROM containing a self-installing utility program for setting up the unit via a Graphical User Interface (GUI) from a Windows based computer via the COM port. Frequency Stability: a. When locked to GPS Synchronized to Satellite clock within 100nsec. b. When powered (not locked) 2.5 parts in 106. c. When not powered 2.5 parts in 105 GPS Performance: a. Channels: 12 Parallel channels, tracks all satellites in view. b. Time-to-first-fix <24 seconds typical (warm start), <150 seconds typical (cold start). c. UTC Time Mark Synchronized with Global Reference Standard, 100nsec. d. Reacquisition: 2 seconds typical. e. Datum WGS 84 GPS Antenna Active Magnetic Mount Patch Antenna, 5 VDC power provided via antenna cable. Gain: 26 db (plus-or-minus) 2 db. Noise figure: 1.5 db Max. IRIG B Output Standard IRIG B serial time code IAW IRIG Standard 200-98. 1PPS Output Low true TTL signal, negative going edge corresponds to UTC time mark. Event Trigger Input TTL signal, captures event on rising or falling edge, as selected. Maximum burst event input rate = 100KHz. Max stored events = 127. Note: When "Auto Send Events" is enabled, the sustained event trigger rate is limited to an average of 120 Hz to avoid buffer overflow. This rate assumes that the Auto Send of the Time/Location message is OFF. RS-232 Port EIA RS-232C, Asynchronous, 19200 baud, 8 data bits, 1 start bit, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control. Note that the RTS output pin is not used for handshake but instead outputs the 1Hz UTC Time mark. Power 9 to 36 Volts DC, 1.5 watts. Temperature (Operating) -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C (Non Operating) -30 to +70 degrees C Humidity 95% non-condensing Package: a. Size Aluminum enclosure, 7.5 inches long (including mounting flanges), 4.25 inches wide and 1.45 inches high. b. Weight 1.5 lbs.
