Description
I. PURPOSE:The purpose of this Screening Information Request (SIR) is to seek competent and well-qualified contractors to provide on-site management of the Fitness/Wellness Center at the FAA Northwest Mountain Region Office located in Renton, Washington. Screening information allows the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to determine which offeror(s) are most likely to receive award, and ultimately, which offeror(s) will provide the FAA with the best value. II. SCOPE OF WORK:The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The contract will have a Base Contract period of October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, with four (4) one-year (1) option periods. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, supervision, administration, technical support, equipment, transportation, materials, to plan, schedule, coordinate, oversee, allocate resources to perform copy center services in the Seattle Consolidated Office Building (SCOB) located in Renton, WA. The SCOB is a secure facility. All contractor personnel must successfully pass security clearance requirements. THIS ACQUISITION IS NOT SET-ASIDE IN ANY MANNER. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561439. For this code a small business is defined as a concern, which has annual average gross revenue of $7 million dollars or less during the last three fiscal years. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
