- The 802d Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole source purchase order to Dynamic Sciences International to purchace a Raster Generator This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 13 August 2010. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source requirement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43, and DFARS Change Notice 20100810, Standard Industrial Code 3825, North American Industry Classification System Code 334515 and Size Standard of 500 apply to this procurement. The Government intends to evaluate and award without discussions on this procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. The justification for this sole source procurement is that the raster generator is the only available commercially-produced tunable synthesizer and sawtooth wave generator that provides a means of displaying repetitive signals on an X-Y display and contains a video (Z) output.
