- Description
- The intent of this contract is to furnish and install five roll-up sectional doors for the Hayfork Ranger and Big Bar Guard Stations' Engine Garages. Two of the doors will be for the Hayfork Engine Garage (Building # 2203) and three will be for the Big Bar Engine Garage (Building # 2204). In addition, as contract options, electric operators may be added to the contract. The work shall include, but not be limited to, providing all equipment, tools, labor and incidentals necessary for complete and fully functional operators and clean up after the operators are installed. Installation of the doors and operators will be considered incidental to furnishing the doors and operators respectively. PROJECT LOCATION: Project is located at the Hayfork Forest Service Compound and Big Bar Guard Station, Shasta Trinity National Forest. The Hayfork Compound is located on Forest Avenue, off of Highway 3 in Hayfork, California. The Big Bar Guard Station is located on Highway 299, approximately 23 miles west of Weaverville, California. This is an RFQ unrestricted under the Competitive Demonstration Program. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date: September 21, 2010. CONTRACT TIME: 60 calendar days. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-bid tour will not be held. BONDING IS REQUIRED of the successful offeror at time of award. A bid guarantee is not required with offeror's submitted proposal. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 24, 2010. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
