- Description
- The intent of this contract is to drill a horizontal water well and a vertical water well at different locations, to provide domestic water to Fouts Springs. Major items of work include, but are not limited to: Constructing 200 feet of access road to horizontal drilling location, drilling a horizontal well, drilling a vertical well, installing well casing, installing sanitary seals, disinfecting wells, and casting a concrete surface seal around the vertical well casing where required by local authority. Contractor shall be responsible for well construction fees and permits through Tehama County, California. PROJECT LOCATION: Project is located on the Grindstone Ranger District of the Mendocino National Forest, Tehama County, California. To reach the project from Willows, take Highway 162 West 19 miles to the junction of County Road 306, turn left and continue South on County Road 306 for 20 miles to M10, turn right on M10 and continue South West approximately 8 miles to Fouts Springs. This is an RFQ unrestricted under the Competitive Demonstration Program. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date: September 20, 2010. CONTRACT TIME: 30 calendar days. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-bid tour will not be held. BONDING IS REQUIRED of the successful offeror at time of award. A bid guarantee is not required with offeror's submitted proposal. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 24, 2010. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
