- Statement of Work for the installation of the Wide Body A300 Fuselage Simulator This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37 dated 14 October 2009, DFARS change notice 20091123, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2009-1030. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), reference number FA3047-10-T-0240. Submission of written quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. Verbal offers will not be accepted. The government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation, and will be most advantageous to the government (Best Value). The government intends to award a purchase order without discussions with respective vendors/quoters. The government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest. The government requires delivery to 341TRS/TSA, 1320 Truempter, Lackland AFB, TX 78236, and the quote must be valid for 60 days. Government required delivery/completion date is 120 Days after receipt of award. This is a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 423860 with a size standard of 500 employees. A site visit is scheduled for 12 Aug 2010, at 0900 Hrs, please contact Ms. Mary Lou Walther for details. U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination No. 2005-2521, Rev. 11, dated 06/28/2010 is applicable to this solicitation. FAR Subpart 13.5 is applicable to this solicitation. The description for this requirement is as follows: Clin 0001 - Contract shall provide and install an A300 Wide Body Fuselage Simulator and framework in Building 7651 located at Lackland AFB, TX. (See attached Statement of Work and drawing for details). FOB: Destination To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, the apparent successful offeror must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, no exceptions.
