- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration Eastern Region Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request of Quotations (RFQ) for a firm, fixed price purchase order to provide a histology and otolith based study of black sea bass life history in southern New England for the Population Biology Branch, Woods Hole, MA accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13. The RFQ will be issued on or about August 7, 2010 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be EA133F-10-RQ-1183; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The delivery date shall be September 30, 2010. This acquisition will be issued as an RFQ and awarded as a firm-fixed price order under simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is R499 and NAICS Code is 541712. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS.
