- FOD Boss sole source letter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT920209A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 2 Aug 10, Defense DCN 20100713, and AFAC 2010-0402 20100402. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333120. The business size standard is 750 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 3695. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3531. Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order for the purchase of a FOD*BOSS, Foreign Object Debris (FOD) removal equipment, provided by The F.O.D. Control Corporation. Line Item 0001: FOD BOSS sweeper assembly package 8 - to include sweeper assembly, debris retention mesh, safety release towing assembly, TA-7 hitch adapter, carry/storage bag, owner's manual, hitch extender and pintle hook adapter (C-5). 4 EA Line Item 0002: FOD BOSS sweeper assembly package 8 - to include sweeper assembly, debris retention mesh, safety release towing assembly, TA-7 hitch adapter, carry/storage bag, owner's manual, hitch extender and pintle hook adapter (C-17). 2 EA Please provide any additional charges and a delivery date with your quote. This requirement has to be delivery and invoiced by your company no later than 30 September 10. If there are any concerns meeting the deadline for this requirement please contact the POC as soon as possible. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1: Delivery and Invoice NLT 30 Sept 10. 2: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
