- NSN 1680-01-525-8993, PR number 26948651, CANNISTER, DROGUE ASSEMBLY used on the T-45 aircraft. The solicitation ISSUE DATE is August 23, 2010 with a CLOSING DATE of September 23, 2010. Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Definite Quantity contract for 217 each to be shipped to New Cumberland, PA. Solicitation is unrestricted for business size. Other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1). Approved source is MARTIN BAKER AIRCRAFT CO LTD., cage U1604, P/N MBEU147621-1. Terms and Conditions are FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin with delivery being 466 days After Receipt of Order. This item is a Critical Safety, Life Support, and Critical Application. Government First Article and Higher level inspection requirements apply. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Automated Best Value System (AVBS) and/or the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) will be used as an evaluation factor. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
