- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, and equipment necessary to apply an herbicide application on approximately 181 acres at two areas on Lake of the Pines, in accordance with the attached specifications. Areas to be treated under this contract at Lake of the Pines are comprised of 2 areas owned in fee by the US Army Corps of Engineers in Marion County, Texas. Herbicide Application areas include 97 acres at Pine Hill Boat Ramp Area and 84 acres at Alley Creek Hunting Access Road area. You MUST provide the following in your solicitation package: 1. Page 1 Block 17a of the solicitation should be filled out accordingly: a. Companys Name b. Address c. Phone Number d. Tax ID Number (TIN) e. Cage Code (inside Code block) 2. Page 4 (Bid Schedule) 3. State of Texas Certification in the handling and application of pesticides/herbicides 4. Resume that lists experience for the past 5 years 5. Confirmation of CCR registration 6. Section K of the solicitation must be filled out OR confirmaiton your company's ORCA profile must be submitted: a. Complete ONLY paragraph (b) of Section K if you have an active ORCA profile AND confirmation of ORCA page MUST be submitted. b. If there is NOT an active ORCA profile for your company, you MUST fill out the entire Section K.
