- 1) The item required is a rotary stage with an open, unobstructed center(aperture), QTY 1 EA.<P>The stage shall have an aperture diameter of at least 480 mm and not more than 580 mm.The height of the unit shall be less than 200 mm.It shall be capable of moving a payload of 25kg, mounted 250 mm from the axis ofrotation, with the axis of rotation oriented horizontally.<P>The stage shall be driven with a DC motor (< 100 VDC) capable of producing thefollowing performance:1.Travel range at least +/- 170 degrees.2.Angular resolution:.001 degrees.3.Angular accuracy:.01 degrees.4.Rotation speed: at least 4 degrees/second.5.Wobble no greater than.001 radian.<P>The stage shall be controlled by Item 2.<P>2) The item required is a controller for item 1, QTY 1 EA.<P>The controller shall be capable of driving the rotary stage supplied as Item 1.The controller shall have a front panel interface through which the stage can becontrolled.The controller shall have the capability to interface to a personal computer through eachof the following interfaces: GPIB, RS232, USB.All functionality shall be accessible through any of the remote interfaces and throughthe front panel interface.
