- LEICA instrument - Specifications RECOVERY This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. Only qualified offerors should submit a response. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333314 and the size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation number is RFQ-1620187 and solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Office of Acquisitions, Station Support Simplified Acquisitions Branch on behalf of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) seeks to procure BRAND NAME LEICA optical instruments with specified characteristics - SEE ATTACHED SPECIFICATION. Quotations must be good for 60 days after close of solicitation. Shipping must be Free on Board (FOB) Destination and Delivery must be made within 90 days or less after receipt of order (ARO). Offeror must provide within its offer the number of days - not to exceed 90 - required to make delivery after receiving a purchase order from the buyer. Delivery point is NIH main campus, Bethesda, Maryland 20892. To be eligible for an award, offeror must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at website http:www.ccr.gov. The selected offeror must comply with the following commercial item Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, must be included with its offer; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
