Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Groton Contracting Department intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract or a delivery order utilizing the procedures identified in FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items or FAR Subpart 8.404, Federal Supply Schedules. This procurement is to purchase brand name test equipment items for a Teradyne Spectrum 9100 system as follows: Product and Software Support Agreement(PSSA/1), Qty 1; Product and Software Support Agreement (PSSA/2),Qty 1; Spare S9 Mini-Coax Funnel w/CIB for 64 Ch DI-Series, Qty 1; Spare 64 Channel (Output) Module, Qty 1. Delivery will be to the Naval Submarine Support Facility, B-153, Naval Submarine Base, Groton, CT no later than November 30, 2010. FOB point is Origin using Smart Transportation System (STS). This procurement is sole sourced to Teradyne Assembly Test Division. The NAICS Code is 334515/small business size standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that only one award will result from this notice, via the issuance of a firm-fixed price simplified acquisition/commercial item contract or a delivery order issued against a GSA Schedule contract. The Government anticipated the resultant award to be an Open Market purchase order or a GSA Schedule delivery order or a combination of GSA Schedule item pricing and Open Market pricing. If GSA Schedule pricing is being proposed, the offeror shall provide the GSA Schedule Contract number and its expiration date. If both GSA Schedule prices and Open Market pricing are being proposed, the offeror shall designate which items are GSA Schedule pricing and which items are Open Market pricing. All clauses applicable to the Open Market Items will be included in the order. The Open Market items will be clearly labeled on the order as items not on the GSA Schedule. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
