- Attachment J-4, Drawings Attachment J-3, Supplemental Project Specifications Attachment J-1 Wage Determination Request for Quote, Solicitation AG-02RC-S-10-0044 CHANGE: DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a Request for Quote numbered AG-02RC -S-10-0044 for the GRANGEVILLE AIR CENTER CRACK SEAL AND SEALCOAT PROJECT. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after August 5, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. The project will consist of asphalt patching, crack sealing, paint striping, and slurry sealing on approximately 107,000 square feet of an aircraft ramp and parking at the Grangeville Air Center. Estimated Price Range; between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located at the Grangeville Air Center, 111 Airport Road Grangeville, Idaho. The Grangeville Air Center is adjacent to the Idaho County Airport. CHANGE: PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 16, 2010 @ 1000 at the Supervisors Office, Nez Perce National Forest, 104 Airport Road, Grangeville Idaho. The site will not be available at any other time. Interested parties should sign-up for the pre-bid conference by calling Jason Johnston, 208-983-4024. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Forest Service intends to issue a solicitation for this project utilizing FAR Part 13 procedures for Simplified Acquisitions. This acquisition is Full and Open Competition according to FAR Subpart 19.10 - Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. A single firm-fixed price type contract may be awarded to the responsible Offeror (in accordance with FAR Part 9, Contractor Qualifications). Payment Protection will be required for this project and Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply to any resulting contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov//. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
