- This is a notice of intent to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price commercial contract for non-personal services of 1 Medical Clerk in support of the Optometry Clinic at Lawrence Joel Army Health Clinic (LJAHC), Fort McPherson, GA. Primary duties include, but are not limited to utilizing hospital information systems to retrieve data, to create and edit profiles and update patient demographic data, patient check-in and verifying patient eligibility. Additional duties include but are not limited to answering telephones, completing end of the day processing reports and addressing and drafting correspondence. This acquisition has been set aside for any small business category of socio economic concern. Description of Services: CLIN 0001 Optometry Medical Clerk. A requirement for Contractor Manpower Reporting to be accomplished by 14 September 2011. This contract will only have a base period. The Base Period of Performance: 15 September 2010 14 September 2011. The formal request for proposals shall be issued on or about August 20, 2010 through the FedBizops website at www.fbo.gov. After this notice is posted and it is anticipated that offers will be accepted through August 27, 2010. A copy of the request for proposal may also be obtained by contacting Ms. Kiah M.
