- Scope of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number W912HN-10-T-0071 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. FAR clauses can be obtained at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED; the associated NAICS code is 325120. Contractors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This requirement is for the purchase of: 2,000 Tons of Liquid Oxygen. 0001: Annual Oxygen Purchase - Provide 2,000 tons of liquid oxygen as described in scope of work. Electronic offers preferred. Basis for Award: Quotation shall meet the minimum requirements listed in the request for quotation to be eligible for an award. An award will be made to the vendor whose quote represents the lowest evaluated quote to the government and whose prices are otherwise determined to be fair and reasonable. Delivery Requirement: Period of delivery is 01 September 2010 through 30 November 2010 as described in scope of work. Exact address will be provided upon award. Inspection and Acceptance Terms: Items shall be priced FOB Destination.
