- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division has a Sole Source Requirement for maintenance service and refurbishment of four custom made diamond wire saws and replenishment of stainless steel diamond wire. Well Diamond Wire Saws, Inc of 4708 S. Old Peachtree Road, STE 500D Norcross, Ga. 30071-1567 is the only manufacturer of diamond wire made from stainless steel, and authentic Well diamond wire saw parts for maintenance. The NAICS Code is 332995 and FSC Code is 1398. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2301(c)(1) - Only one responsible source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. However, all responses must be submitted with in 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
