- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), located at 2200 Lester Street, Quantico, VA 22134, is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase of 4,000 AN/PVS-14 Single Battery Housing Compartments (Part Number: A3297309, NSN: 5855-01-523-4058, MFR: ITT Industries Inc and L3 Communications). The North American Industry Classification Code is 333314 - Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing with a Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This requirement is being conducted as a limited sources of supply competition on the basis of obtaining the Brand Name Item. All quoted items shall be brand name specified. Comparable items will not be accepted. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a firm-fixed price contract. (SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION) In responding to this RFQ, offerors shall submit its completed solicitation response addressing all RFQ requirements. Offerors may submit written questions requesting clarification of the solicitation requirements on or before 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time), 10 August 2010. Questions received after this time and date will not be honored. Questions may be submitted to Jessica Quinones at jessica.quinones@usmc.mil. Telephone calls will not be accepted. The closing date for receipt of quotes is 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time), 13 August 2010. Anticipated award date is on or about 23 August 2010. Electronic proposal submissions are permitted (and preferred) and must be submitted to Jessica Quinones at jessica.quinones@usmc.mil. Mailed proposals shall be delivered to the Marine Corps Systems Command, Attn: CT-021 PG13 Patsy D. Stefan, Contracting Officer, M67854-10-Q-1090, Bldg. 2200 Lester Street, Quantico, VA 22134. All submittals shall reference the combined synopsis/solicitation number M67854-10-Q-1090.
