MASTERPACT NW LOW-VOLTAGE POWER/INSULATED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER INSTRUCTIONS The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following items: Item no. 1. CIRCUIT BREAKER Generator circuit breaker, 3200A, 3P, ANSI, MASTERPACT NW 85KA consisting of : Square D Masterpack (R), drawout circuit breaker, MODEL#NW32H2 3-POLE ANSI C37, rated 3200 AMPS, 3000 AMP SENSOR PLUG, UL type E rating plug, micrologic (R) trip unit, Type 5.0P with : zone selective protection (LSI), NO ground fault, 12 auxiliary contacts w/2PCM module, spring charging motor, 100-130VAC, shunt trip, 24-30VAC/VDC, closing coil, 24-30 VAC/VDC, ADJ. Time delay undervoltage trip 100-130VAC, pad lockable pushbutton cover, no second overcurrent trip, terminations for drawout breaker. WT. APPROX. 227 LBS. End use: The generator circuit breaker is used in the ship service switchboards onboard the USCGC 418 FT WMSL. Destination to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. Each unit to be individually packaged in accordance with specifications: SSP-PP&M-001 REV_ D dated 10/01/00. Packing and preservation in accordance with Masterpact NW low-voltage Power/insulated case circuit breaker, 10/2004 Secion 1-General Information; storage page 12 and maintenance guide (LVPED508016EN-11/2008) for storage 2 to 5 years. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-38 (AUG 2010) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. Technical specifications for marking and packing are attached to this notice. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for items individually packed, marked and bar coded, the company Tax Identification Number and Duns Number. Offeror must also fill out and return FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Aug 2009). Quotations shall be received no later than August 13, 2010, by 12 noon with anticipated award date of August 16, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. Award will be based on all items or none. Material shall be packed for shipment in such a manner as to afford adequate protection to the item against corrosion, deterioration, and physical damage during shipment from the supply source to Engineering Logistic Center locations. ALL Stock numbered items shall be bar coded. a. The standard marking required in MARKING for all for all packaging configurations can be applied separately or as part of the Bar Code Label. If the latter option is used the label size shall be adjusted appropriately. b. The stock number or numbers, and purchase order / contract number shall be bar coded with Human Readable Interpretation (HRI) immediately below the bar coding on unit and unitized packs. c. All HRI shall be placed below its associated bar code. The label shall be intended for long term indoor applications where the labels will endure intermittent outdoor exposure. Each label shall be for porous surfaces and consist of paper without plastic laminate.
