- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis from OPSENS Inc, 2014 Rue Cyrille “ Duquet Bureau 125, Quebec, G1N 4N6, Canada (D & B 253717946) the following items: Item 0001: Qty; 175; P/N OTG-R-10-100ST-1.5TT-XN-XN-R; Fiber Optic fast response time temperature probe for EED tests; 100 um core size; ST connectors; Teflon telescopic sleeve; 1.5m. Vendors shall warrant that the products they supply are new equipment. Quotes based upon FOB destination, complete with delivery dates, warranty information and be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13). The closing date of 17 August 2010; the anticipated award date is 24 August 2010. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE.
