- DOL Wage Determination Solicitation package- SSA-RFQ-10-1835 SF 1449- SSA-RFQ-10-1835 The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Syserco, Inc., 44244 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.501(a) (2) (ii) for the continued maintenance and support of the Alerton IBEX for Windows Energy Management Control System (EMCS) equipment and its associated hardware and components. The Contractor shall provide onsite support two days or sixteen (16) hours per month over a twelve (12) month period for SSA in Richmond, CA. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, material, and support to monitor, perform preventive maintenance, and update software. Alerton Technologies is the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM). Syserco Inc. is the only authorized and licensed distributor and Service Company for Alerton Technologies in the San Francisco Metropolitan Bay Area. Programming language used by the IBEX Alerton System is proprietary to Alerton and its franchised distribution and service network. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.3, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is SSA-RFQ-10-1835 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotation The solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44. The associated North American Industrial Classification Code is 238210, with a small business standard of $14 million.This requirement is unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The total potential effective period of this contract is 12 months from date of award. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The selected offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions as well as any addenda to these clauses. The FAR clauses and provisions that apply to this acquisition are FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. In addition, offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with its proposal. Applicable terms and conditions, and representations and certifications are contained in the RFQ(attached). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements of this solicitation in terms of lowest price and delivery time. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
